If you need to suspend a user's access, a full access admin (External User Administrator) can lock a username from within the Merchant Portal.
- Log into the Merchant Portal.
- Go to Administration in the left sidebar.
- Click User Administration.
- Locate the user that needs their security code device reset and click View.
- Review all actions options on the right.
- Click the Lock User button.
Once the user is locked, the current password will not work and they are unable to use the I forgot my password option.
There is not an option to delete a user. Once a user is locked, you will see the option to Permanent Lock. Be very careful with this option as it cannot be undone. Permanent Lock will prevent the user ID from ever being used again, which means you would not be able to add them back later.
